FISH RECIPE: Sticky Tiger Prawns in ginger, lemon & chilli

Here at Mix & Blend we are big fans of quality ingredients. For our fish recipes, we use fresh fish which we are lucky to obtain from Billingsgate Market….which is practically on our door step. Fresh fruits and vegetables from a local trader (Michael) in Balham Market, plus the Clapham High Street farmers market. I am so spoilt for choice here in South London.

There are so many more places to list, but I think I will leave that for my blog page.

Great tasting fish recipes

With a handful of a selected fresh herbs, breadcrumbs and a little cheese (cheese is optional), you can transform a piece or a whole salmon into a masterpiece. Plated with either salad or a selection of seasonal veg…my daughter prefers asparagus and sugar snap peas salad. Steam of course…. I like my vegetables to have a little crunch to it…. never soggy veg. Equally having a few chips or creamy crushed potatoes with this dish, if you are feeling a little indulgent.

Personally, I like to boil a little paste and whip up a little creamy cheese sauce. I then mix the creamy cheese sauce in with the cooked pasta and plate up. Then topping the pasta off with the piece of herbed crusty salmon…. delightful!

The fantastic organic and home grown produce, which you can find on your doorstep is amazing…..also the various places to eat and drink, we are spoilt for choice. On this page, you will find great tasting fish recipes, along with other marvellous recipes for meat, poultry and vegetable dishes.

You may even find some lovely cocktail recipes around Summer festival and Christmas time, so keep an eye open or your miss it.

Have a look and try our salmon dish, which is amazing!
